We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a background in food preparation, cooking, and bar management. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise bar staff, ensuring excellent service delivery and adherence to company standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Develop and implement creative drink menus that enhance the guest experience. Train staff in serving techniques, hospitality standards, and customer service excellence. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production, culinary techniques, and food safety practices. Experience in hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Experience in cocktail making. Barista experience is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
