Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the bar team, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, ensuring efficient service
Manage daily operations of the bar, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards in line with food safety regulations.
Develop innovative drink menus whilst ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation related to food production and alcohol service.
Train new staff on service protocols, food safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue while controlling costs.
Organise special events or promotions to attract new customers and retain existing patrons.
Requirements
Proven experience in hospitality
Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams within a busy setting. .
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to food handling and alcohol service.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
