Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bustling bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold high standards of food safety and service quality. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring smooth service delivery Oversee food and beverage preparation, including basic food production and cooking where necessary Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in accordance with food safety standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols Lead team management efforts by training staff on service standards, hospitality etiquette, and operational procedures Monitor customer service quality to guarantee a memorable experience for all guests Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours and special events Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation processes when required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with hygiene standards

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally as a bar manager or similar role Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting, with excellent communication skills Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen operations Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable Barista experience or background in hospitality is advantageous but not essential Ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,500.00-34,500.00 per year
