The Shipyard is seeking a motivated and hands on Pub Manager to lead the day to day running of our busy, community focused venue.
This role would suit an experienced Pub Manager or an established Assistant Manager or Supervisor who is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the daily operation of the pub
Leading, motivating, and developing the front of house team
Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards
Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Cash handling, staff rotas, and wage control
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company standards
Driving sales through events, promotions, and local engagement
About You
Previous experience in a pub or hospitality management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Organised, reliable, and commercially aware
Passionate about customer service and team development
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Assistant Managers or Supervisors ready to step into a Manager role are encouraged to apply
