We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. As a Bar Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant atmosphere while supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

Lead and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service. Oversee daily bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of new employees. Develop creative cocktail menus and maintain an extensive knowledge of beverages to enhance guest experiences. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control effectively. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the bar area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create harmonious service between the bar and restaurant. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area to provide a welcoming environment for guests.

Requirements

Proven experience in a hospitality role, preferably within a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong bartending skills with an understanding of mixology and beverage trends. Excellent team management abilities with experience in supervising staff. Knowledge of culinary principles is advantageous to support collaboration with kitchen teams. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of bar management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
