We are a small club seeking the correct candidate to take the reins on day-to-day management of the business and its premises. You'll work with the Committee to increase revenues of the club and drive it forward in order to sustain and grow the business.
You will be responsible for the management of the bar. This includes ensuring there is enough staff to cover opening times and busy periods. You will be required to organise a weekly rota including regular hours behind the bar yourself. At present, the club is open Thursday through to Sunday.
General day-to-day duties include: -Basic Management - Stock Ordering/Rotation & Management, Staff Rotas, Shift work, Cellar work, Cash Handling- taking cash to/from the bank/post office, Cleaning.
Staff Management - Hiring & Firing, Submitting Timesheets and wages.
Premise Management - Cleanliness, Stock Upkeep, SecurityPaperwork - Basic organisational skills with invoices, payroll, post, use of Microsoft One drive, timesheets and wages submissions
Event Management - Planning, staffing, advertising on social media and managing the social media accounts
Collect stock from wholesalers when required.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, have a passion for customer service and strong experience in bar and cellar management.
A public license and/or qualification appropriate to the role are desired but not essential at this stage.
Salary/wage is negotiable/dependant on experience. From 14.00 per hour
A minimum of two references are required in order to be considered for the role.
