The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, supervising food preparation, and ensuring the smooth running of all bar activities.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction
Supervise and motivate team members, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
Manage food preparation and ensure all culinary offerings meet quality standards
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food production and presentation
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards
Organise stock control, ordering supplies, and managing inventory levels
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and adheres to hygiene standards at all times
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold excellent service standards
Implement training programmes for staff development in hospitality, serving techniques, and food safety
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong team management and leadership abilities
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Experience in food production and kitchen operations, including culinary skills such as food preparation and cooking
Background in hospitality roles such as serving or barista experience is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments
Strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team and interact with customers confidently
