Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pub / Bar Manager to join our team at Black Star Pubs located in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This role is vital in ensuring our pubs deliver exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere, contributing to our mission of fostering community connections.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to maintain stock availability. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with management on promotional events and marketing strategies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including drink preparation and service standards. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in restaurant or culinary settings is preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
