Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. Responsibilities

Manage the bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring quality standards are met. Develop and implement innovative drink menus while maintaining cost control. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary. Ensure exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and bar offerings. Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training needs.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. A clear and concise vision of trends and how to manage/market them Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
