POSITION OVERVIEW




The Bar Manager oversees the full operation of the bar,ensuring delivery of exceptional service,beautifully crafted drinks,and a stylish,welcoming atmosphere. This role is responsible for maintaining product quality,developing the bar team,and embodying the Richoux standard of elegant and considered hospitality.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:



Curate memorable experiences through engaging,confident,and knowledgeable bar service. Champion consistency and elegance in all drinks served,from morning coffees to signature cocktails. Build strong rapport with guests,leading by example as a gracious host. Ensure guest feedback is responded to promptly and constructively.

OPERATIONS:



Manage bar mise en place,cleanliness,daily checklists,and service flow. Lead shift briefings and maintain high operational standards. Ensure licensing,hygiene,and health & safety compliance are always upheld. Coordinate with FOH and BOH leadership to ensure seamless bar integration across service.

PEOPLE:



Recruit,train,and develop bartenders and bar support staff. Foster a positive,high-performing team culture that values learning and growth. Conduct training sessions,one-to-ones,and progression planning. Support rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels for bar success.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:



Track and manage beverage cost of sales and stock levels. Monitor wastage and implement controls to optimise profitability. Drive upselling and sales performance through team coaching. Maintain accurate stocktaking,ordering,and invoice reconciliation.

BRAND GUARDIANSHIP:



Uphold Richoux's values through drink presentation,menu language,and bar aesthetics. Deliver seasonal beverage launches and support wider campaign initiatives. Maintain brand-approved bar layouts,tools,and visual merchandising. Contribute to a culture of creativity,elegance,and guest-led innovation.

REQUIREMENTS:



Previous experience in a premium bar or restaurant with supervisory responsibilities. Deep knowledge of wine,spirits,cocktails,coffee,and bar operations. Confidence in leading a team and setting a service tone aligned with luxury hospitality. Strong understanding of stock management,compliance,and bar profitability.
