We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food and beverage service. You will be responsible for managing the bar staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Duties
Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards
Lead and manage the bar team, providing training and support to enhance their skills in hospitality and customer service
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring that all dishes meet our culinary standards
Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to food safety guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between the bar and kitchen
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends in the industry
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock without over-ordering
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar environment
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production and preparation techniques
Background in hospitality management, demonstrating leadership capabilities
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment
Previous experience as a Barista or in hotel settings is advantageous
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests
