Simpson's In The Strand:

Housed within the impressive Grade II listed building at 100 Strand,London,Simpson's first opened in 1828 as a coffee house and chess club. Long celebrated for its ritual of wheeling joints of meat to diners and carving them beautifully tableside,it is now the last of the 'Grande Dame' restaurants to retain its original decor and features.
