Summary

'We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations at our Japanese restaurant located in the US. This role is vital in ensuring excellent customer service and efficient management of our bar area, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality Japanese cuisine in a welcoming environment.'

Responsibilities

Manage daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Supervise bar staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards. Oversee inventory control and ordering of beverages and supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with management team to coordinate service. Monitor sales and implement strategies to increase revenue. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.'

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Recruit bar staff and develop training incentives with staff.

Excellent knowledge of beverage operations and POS systems. Develop seasonal drinks menus. Ability to manage inventory and control costs. Exceptional customer service skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Experience in Japanese cuisine or Asian restaurants is a plus, but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.' Personal License preferred.
