We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality in our newly refurbished pub. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, maintaining food safety protocols, and supervising staff to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Manage daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Monitor financial performance of the bar, assisting in budgeting and forecasting as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending and managing a bar or similar establishment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
