Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen personnel
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed
Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to maintain efficient service
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Assist in the development of menus, including beverage selection and food pairing options
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
Conduct regular training sessions on food safety, service standards, and product knowledge
Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling and billing procedures
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Experience in serving beverages professionally as a barista or bartender is desirable
Familiarity with food safety regulations and food production processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests
Previous experience in hotel or restaurant management is advantageous
