Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, stock control, and customer service standards
Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations
Supervise the serving staff to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production and culinary presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety standards
Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation
Implement training programmes for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Experience in managing a team within a busy bar or restaurant setting
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
Familiarity with hospitality standards such as serving, barista experience, and culinary skills is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organisational skills
Previous experience in managing stock levels and implementing health & safety protocols
