We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, craft beers, wine and cocktails, with a passion for creating an exceptional guest experience. As the Bar Manager, you will lead a team of bartenders and support staff, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring all dishes meet our culinary standards. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary while minimising waste. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that enhance the dining experience. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure quality products at competitive prices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent culinary knowledge, including food preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience as a barista is beneficial but not essential.
