Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food and drink, and the ability to manage a busy bar environment effectively. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere.

Duties

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Train and supervise bar staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Develop creative drink menus and ensure adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Skills

Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production. Previous experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or hotel setting is highly desirable. Ability to create an engaging atmosphere for guests through exceptional service and hospitality. Experience as a barista or in beverage service is an advantage. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of bar management.
