Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily bar and restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to uphold quality standards
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members including serving staff and kitchen personnel
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking
Develop innovative drink menus and promote specials to enhance customer experience
Train new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health & safety regulations
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a hospitality setting, ideally in a bar or restaurant environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, culinary techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service is highly desirable
Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices including serving techniques and customer service excellence
Previous experience with barista work or beverage preparation is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour suitable for guest interaction and team management
