Duties
Lead and supervise the bar and restaurant team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Manage the serving of drinks and food to optimise customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies.
Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards.
Develop new cocktail menus or promotional offers to enhance customer experience.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and beverages.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a bar setting.
Strong supervisory experience with team management skills.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Experience in serving drinks, food safety procedures, and food production processes.
Background in hospitality roles such as restaurant experience, hotel experience, or barista experience is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in managing stock, schedules, and customer service standards.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments.
