We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, supervising food and drink preparation, and creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Duties

Lead and supervise the bar and restaurant team, ensuring smooth daily operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Manage the serving of drinks and food to optimise customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies. Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and performance reviews. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards. Develop new cocktail menus or promotional offers to enhance customer experience. Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and beverages.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a bar setting. Strong supervisory experience with team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques. Experience in serving drinks, food safety procedures, and food production processes. Background in hospitality roles such as restaurant experience, hotel experience, or barista experience is highly desirable. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in managing stock, schedules, and customer service standards. Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
