Job Description

Platform 1864 are looking to hire a Bar Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time role with the opportunity of live in accommodation for the right candidate. Experience in bar work is essential however experience in management is not as all training will be given on the job.

The job Role:
- Manage all aspects of the bar, including stock control, ordering & stock rotation
- Create and implement drink menus and specials while sourcing new and interesting beverages
- Train and manage a small, friendly bar team
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee the preparation of cocktails and other beverages to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area at all times
- Maintain the cleanliness standards of the cellar

- Locking up and cashing up

Ensuring there's always a high standard of customer service being delivered

Our ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in bartending
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- A genuine love for hospitality and bar work
- A sound knowledge of drinks who is also willing to learn and progress
- Excellent communication skills who enjoys working with people
- Exceptional customer service skills
-Someone with a good balance of friendliness and professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
