Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and providing excellent customer service. Your ability to manage time effectively and utilise basic maths skills will be essential in ensuring a smooth operation during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage inventory by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring stock levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Adhere to all licensing laws and company policies regarding the sale of alcohol. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and health regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs accurately. A friendly disposition with outstanding communication skills to foster positive customer interactions. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
