Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending practices. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be vital in enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on preferences. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Preparation of rolls and light snacks. Uphold food safety standards by following hygiene practices and maintaining a clean work environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Some cleaning duties will be required.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. You will be required to hold a food hygiene certificate. if you do have one we will provide one at our cost. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. A friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
