Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating exceptional experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in managing inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till. Demonstrate effective time management skills during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience is essential.
