Part Time Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixing and serving drinks, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their tastes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol policies at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Keep up-to-date with current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour towards customers. A passion for bartending with a willingness to learn about new cocktails and drink recipes.
