Bar Supervisor - The Waterloo Inn, Nash

Can you pull a perfect pint, fix a fobbing tap, and spot a dodgy keg from a mile off? We need you - preferably sober and on time.

We're looking for a hands-on

Bar Supervisor

to join the team at

The Waterloo Inn

, a friendly destination pub just outside Newport with locals who love a chat, a pint, and a packet of Scampi Fries.

This isn't your first rodeo - we need someone who knows their way around a

cellar

, can clean lines without flooding the floor, and isn't fazed by a full bar and a broken glasswasher at the same time.

Your duties will include:

Running bar shifts like a smooth operator Making sure the cellar is clean, cool, and not full of empty kegs Line cleaning (the proper way - not with fairy liquid and a prayer) Stock checks, deliveries, and rotation that actually works Supporting the manager and helping lead the bar team Serving drinks, sorting customers, and maybe the odd karaoke mic drop

You'll need:

Cellar experience

- don't worry, we'll still help you lift the heavy ones

Line cleaning knowledge

- ideally without flooding the cellar Previous pub/bar supervisory experience A cool head under pressure and a warm approach with people Good timekeeping, a sense of humour, and the ability to say "no" when Steve wants one more after hours
