Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also engaging with guests to enhance their experience through upselling and culinary knowledge.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and ensure their satisfaction. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations to ensure a safe environment. Assist in the kitchen as needed, supporting culinary staff during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for billing purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and billing. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and willingness to learn about beverages and culinary offerings.
