We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members as required, sharing knowledge of bartending techniques and hospitality best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic bartending skills, including knowledge of drink recipes and preparation techniques. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
