Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patrons, ensuring they have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations when necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately, requiring basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-equipped for service.

Skills

Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and managing tabs. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous experience in bartending or restaurant environments is essential. Previous experience in receptionist or administrative role highly beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.49-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
