Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Basic bartending skills are advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong understanding of food safety practices is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
