Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Uphold the highest standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in bartending roles. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
