Job Description

Please note you must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role as it involves the sale of alcohol.

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to work a minimum of 32 hours plus per fortnight in our friendly, private member's club. Shifts will include days, evenings and weekends so the candidate will need to be fully flexible. Additional hours will need to be covered during staff holidays and absences. Please note, this job is a permanent role and may be unsuitable for those with other commitments. When working a keyholder shift the pay will be elevated to 13.61 per hour.

The successful candidate must have previous experience as a bartender and thrive on delivering excellent customer service. Duties will include bar service, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, keeping the bar area clean and stocked up, food preparation, as well as cellar duties and line-clean. This job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The successful candidate must have a smart appearance, be reliable, trustworthy, punctual and enjoy talking to people.
