Overview

We are seeking a

Bar Staff Team Leader

with prior experience in the hospitality industry to run opening and closing shifts in our city centre pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. We are hiring reliable and innovative team players with a passion for raising expectations and challenging standards. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

The Cambrian Tap is a one bar operation that opens at 12pm everyday and trades until late on weekends (Thursday-Saturday 4am close license). It attracts students from the city's major universities and benefits from local events - rugby days and gigs at the Principality stadium.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure efficient and friendly service at all times Ensure that drinks are prepared and presented in accordance with our standards Maintain high hygiene standards across all operations Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations Train new staff members Maintain a strong line of communication between the bar team and the door security team Motivate staff to achieve targets

Experience

Experience in supervising or leading a team within a busy setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 30 per week
