Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within the establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow. Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety practices.

Requirements

5 years previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Experience in serving or bar work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates. A passion for the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly regarded.
