Sports Bar Assistant Manager
Are you passionate about all things sports? From football to rugby, darts to snooker, here at Firepit we show it all and have an exciting opportunity for you. We are on the hunt for the next pitstar employee to join our team.
We are looking for someone to assist the general manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, handling customer service, and ensuring the bar is clean and well-maintained. You would also contribute to inventory management, ordering supplies, and potentially managing budgets and setting goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Supervising bartenders, barbacks, and other staff, potentially including hiring, training, and discipline.Customer Service:
Providing excellent service, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive atmosphere.Operational Efficiency:
Ensuring the bar is clean, well-maintained, and efficiently run, including managing facilities and services.Inventory and Ordering:
Taking inventory, reordering supplies, and managing stock levels.Budgeting and Financial Management:
Assisting with budget management, setting goals, and analyzing financial data.Shift Supervision:
Overseeing staff and managing daily operations during specific shifts.Additional Skills:
Organization:
Managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Communication:
Clearly and effectively communicating with staff, customers, and management team.Problem-Solving:
Addressing issues and finding solutions to operational challenges.Knowledge of the hospitality industry:
Understanding bar operations, beverage service, and customer service principleJob Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,400.00-28,500.00 per year
