This role requires
morning work to accept deliveries from breweries
, as well as
regular evening and weekend work
, which are essential to meet the needs of the club.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the bar and cellar, including stock control, ordering, and deliveries.
Serve members and guests efficiently and courteously.
Supervise and manage bar staff, including rotas, training, and performance.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and club policies.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the bar area.
Assist in planning and running club events and functions.
Handle cashing up, record keeping, and financial reporting accurately.
The Ideal Candidate
Must be an experienced Bar Steward
, with a proven track record in bar or hospitality management.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Trustworthy, well-organised, and able to work independently.
Personal Licence Holder (desirable, or willingness to obtain).
Flexible and willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and event days.
Full Driving Licence essential.
