We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a vibrant atmosphere. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and upholding food safety standards while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
Oversee the preparation and production of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in all offerings.
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure that stock is always available.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards, promoting a clean and safe working environment.
Develop and implement training programmes for staff on food preparation, drink recipes, and customer service techniques.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations between the bar and kitchen.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, striving to enhance the overall guest experience.
Monitor financial performance of the bar, assisting in budgeting and cost control measures.
Requirements
Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
Knowledge of food preparation and production processes is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a bar setting.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
