Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Bar Supervisor

to support

The Manager

and at times in the managers absence oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good leadership skills, good hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food and beverage quality, maintaining safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders and serving personnel Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met in line with health and safety regulations Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of beverages and ingredients Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area Assist in Leading the team in delivering excellent customer service Assist and at times organise staff rotas Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures Collaborate with other areas of the business such as kitchen team and other Business's within the company portfolio

Skills

Proven supervising experience within hospitality Good team and leadership capabilities Familiarity with serving techniques and hospitality standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Knowledge of barista experience is advantageous Ability to motivate staff, foster teamwork, and lead by example Good communication skills with a professional manner when dealing with guests and team members Basic understanding of financial management related to sales monitoring and stock control

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
