Duties
Lead daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts in a fast-paced environment
Supervise and train staff on food preparation, drink mixing and customer service best practices
Oversee inventory control, including stock ordering, food handling, and waste reduction to maximize profitability
Manage cash handling procedures accurately during shift changes and daily transactions
Enforce food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with kitchen management for food production, catering events, banquets, and special functions
Monitor customer feedback to enhance service quality and resolve any issues promptly
Skills
Extensive experience in drinks mixology preparation, and beverage crafting within casual dining or fine dining settings
Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Strong background in inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures
Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, interviewing, and team management
Knowledge of hospitality management principles including budgeting, shift management, and food service management
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse clientele
Experience in managing bar operations within hotel or restaurant settings; familiarity with catering and banquet services is a plus
Ability to oversee kitchen operations related to food production and culinary standards
Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in the food industry is highly desirable
