Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for food and beverage service. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding service Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures

Requirements

Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and production processes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality Experience in serving beverages with a keen understanding of mixology is advantageous Previous experience as a barista is considered an asset Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
