Are you an experienced and dynamic bar professional ready to take on a leadership role in one of the most luxurious, weddings and events venues in Glasgow?
The Exchange are on the lookout for a Bar Supervisor to help us deliver exceptional service and ensure smooth operations in our Royal Exchange Square venue.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the bar team, always ensuring excellent customer service.
Oversee daily bar operations, from opening to closing, including stock management and cash handling.
Maintain a clean and organized bar environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
Train, motivate, and support bar staff, providing guidance to ensure consistent performance.
Ensure high standards of drink preparation, service, and presentation.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Work closely with the management team to develop and implement operational improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience in bar supervision or a similar role in a high-volume environment (essential).
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, beers, spirits, and wine.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
Personal license and knowledge of licensing laws are a plus (preferred).
