About the Role:

Trumans Bar, a well-established and popular venue in Glasgow, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Bar Supervisor

to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading by example, delivering excellent customer service, and being part of a busy, friendly bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support bar staff during service Lead shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day bar operations Deliver outstanding customer service and handle any issues professionally Assist with opening and closing procedures Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene Support stock control, ordering, and wastage management Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies Train, motivate, and develop team members

Requirements:

Previous experience in a bar supervisory or senior bar role Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends Good knowledge of drinks service and bar operations A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work
