Cottonrake is a local cafe in Glasgow's West End offering breakfast, lunch and evening service. Not only are we dedicated to delivering high quality products from our bakery but also beautiful seasonal dishes, speciality coffee, natural wine and cocktails.

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor for our evenings at Cottonrake! The right candidate will be enthusiastic, have a high knowledge of wine and cocktails and provide strong leadership to support the team. You will be working closely with the General Managers' and the kitchen team to create exciting drinks that will pair with our seasonal menus. This is a key holder position and the ability to cash and lock up is preferred.

Personable customer service skills Strong knowledge of wine and cocktails Ability to work hard in a fast paced environment Ability to develop new and exciting drinks to complement our evening service menu Maintain high standards of hygiene, food preparation and presentation Monitor stock levels Train staff in cocktail preparation Collaborate with kitchen in creating drinks pairings Be clean and organised

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Ability to work under pressure Food health and safety knowledge Barista trained preferred but not essential - one shift will be during the day which will include barista and floor work.

Usual shift pattern:

- 2:30pm - 10:30/11pm Thursday - Saturday.

- One rotating day shift Monday - Wednesday(8hrs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 35 per week
