We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Bar Supervisor to join our Front of House Team.
We are a family run business having 15 years' experience in running our successful business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As soon as our customers walk through the door we want them to have a memorable experience with exceptional service.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the bar, working alongside the Manager and or Owner and in their absence the supervision of the Front of House Team when on shift and the overseeing of the Restaurant ensuring the best quality of service.
As the Bar Supervisor as well as the daily operations, you will be responsible for cashing up, locking up 3 nights per week, supervising staff and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
The preparation and presentation of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks , cocktails in accordance with standard recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock without overextending resources, stock rotation and putting stock away.
Implement and uphold food safety practices throughout the bar operations.
Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Handle transactions accurately utilising basic maths skills for till operations.
Confident communication with staff as well as customers to ensure the Team functions to the best of their ability.
Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant environment, this could be achieved by the right person with further training.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
