Role Overview

At ART Hospitality Group, our Bar Supervisors play a crucial role in setting standards,

supporting teams and delivering great hospitality day in, day out. We're looking for a

confident, detail-driven Bar Supervisor to support bar operations across The Bookshop, The

Yard and Burger Shop.

This is a hands-on role, focused primarily on the bar, but requiring strong floor and service

skills to support full restaurant operations when needed. You'll work closely with the wider

management team to maintain consistency, pace and quality across all services.

The position is for 30 hours per week minimum, with the ideal candidate being willing to work

up to 48 hours a week when necessary. Due to the nature of this role, the work hours are predominantly evenings and weekends.

? Support colleagues across bar and floor to keep services flowing smoothly

? Take feedback on board and contribute ideas positively

? Take pride in maintaining high bar standards and improving service quality

? Support training of new team members on bar setup, service and specs

? Step up to lead sections or shifts when required

? Continuously build drinks and service knowledge

? Help create welcoming, well-run spaces guests want to return to

Key Responsibilities

Bar Service & Standards

? Lead bar service during busy periods, supporting pace and quality

? Ensure correct measures, glassware and presentation are used at all times

? Maintain clean, organised and fully prepped bars.

? Monitor stock levels during service and flag shortages

Shift & Floor Support

? Support full restaurant service when required, including running drinks to tables

? Assist with guest interactions and service recovery where needed

? Help manage service flow between bar, floor and kitchen

Team Support & Training

? Train and coach bar team members during service

? Deliver clear pre-shift focus and lead by example

What We're Looking For

Essential:

? Previous bar experience in a quality-led hospitality environment

? Strong drinks knowledge across beer, spirits, wine and cocktails

? Excellent attention to detail and consistency

? Confidence supporting busy services and leading by example

? Willingness to work across bar and floor

? Cocktail preparation experience

Desirable:

? Previous Supervisor or senior bar experience

? Experience in multi-bar or restaurant-led venues
