We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Supervisor

to support our busy fine-dining country pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional hospitality and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment Develop and implement innovative drink menus, including cocktails and non-alcoholic options Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health regulations, and safety procedures Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships Train staff in serving techniques, food safety protocols, and hospitality best practices Organise promotional events or themed nights to increase patronage

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example Background in restaurant or hotel service roles; barista experience is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence Knowledge of beverage mixing, cocktail creation. Familiarity with hospitality software systems for reservations and stock management is desirable A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in a vibrant setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
