Job Summary

We are seeking a Bar Supervisor with experience serving cask ale and craft beer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within food service, and will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving protocols. Oversee kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and compliance with food safety regulations. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies. Engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with culinary teams to create innovative menus that reflect current trends in the hospitality industry.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hotel sector is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Experience as a barista or in similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
