Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Bar Supervisor

to oversee daily operations at our bustling bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality management, food service, or restaurant supervision is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards Oversee staff training, development, and scheduling to maintain optimal team performance Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Assist in food preparation and beverage service as needed, including cocktail mixing and barista duties Monitor customer service quality, addressing any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and support ongoing training & development initiatives Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and optimal staffing levels Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the establishment's hospitality standards

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervision, preferably within casual dining or fine dining settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising food & beverage operations Familiarity with inventory control, food safety regulations, and kitchen management practices Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment with quick service & fast food restaurant experience preferred Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence Experience with food preparation, culinary techniques, or kitchen management is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shift management and operational oversight confidently Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, training & development, and positive work culture Previous experience in hotel or banquet settings, catering services, or coffee/barista roles is a plus
