Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing the overall atmosphere of the venue. The successful applicant will play a vital role in delivering memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the bar and restaurant team, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met. Manage daily operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies. Develop and implement innovative drink menus and promotional events to attract customers. Monitor customer service levels, address guest concerns promptly, and foster a welcoming environment. Train staff on service procedures, food safety practices, and responsible alcohol service. Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory to minimise waste and optimise stock levels. Maintain a professional appearance of the venue, ensuring it adheres to brand standards.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising or managing within a hospitality environment, ideally in bars or restaurants. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Experience in food safety management and food production processes. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Good understanding of hospitality operations, including serving standards and customer relations. Knowledge of barista experience or beverage crafting is advantageous. Ability to oversee kitchen activities as well as bar operations seamlessly. Strong communication skills with a focus on team management and guest interaction. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 36 per week
