This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced bartender or team leader ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.

The role

As Bar Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the daily running of the pub, working closely with management to ensure smooth, efficient service and a fantastic customer experience. You'll gain leadership experience while helping shape the pub's ongoing development -- from events and service to social media and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the general management with daily operations and confidently run shifts in their absence Help launch and manage a weekly pub quiz -- prior experience with quizzes is a plus Maintain a strong presence on social media (Instagram/Facebook), promoting events and engaging with the local community Deliver excellent customer service and foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere Serve drinks to a high standard, including cocktails, beer, and spirits Contribute to the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area Accurately handle cash and card transactions Uphold health & safety and licensing compliance Take ownership of your progression, supporting training and development efforts

What We're Looking For

2 years previous experience in a pub or bar (supervisory experience a bonus, but not essential) A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for hospitality An interest or background in hosting pub quizzes or similar events Great communication skills and a desire to develop people-management abilities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays A personal licence or willingness to obtain one (we will support with this)

Work Authorisation:

Must be authorised to work in the UK Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Nottingham
